• Follow procedures to ensure proper actions are taken in the care of patients, prevention of infection and documentation of care.
• Utilize nursing skills and experience to make correct decisions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to patients, family members, colleagues and management.
• Must be sensitive to and maintain confidential information.
• Operating room with exposure to bodily fluids, chemicals and sharp equipment.
• Must stand for long periods.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Specialty certification in surgery, operating room or procedural preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in an operating room setting.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
